WHY ARE YOU L O O K I N G ?
WHY ARE YOU LOOKING? is a project about the society's rejection of natural human body. Everyday we are surrounded by advertising and media which shows the human body as an object of desire or attraction... But if we see a normal, natural, explicit naked we are used to feel uncomfortable. If we are face to face with the intimate nakedness of a stranger, we can not avoid to stare surprised or to look away. This way of treating bodies as a taboo made us want to show everybody the real and explicit beauty of bodies -not in a sexy way, but in a totally natural one-. Many of the pictures show bodies crushed against the glass that represent the gaze of the rest, the constant vitrine we live in during our lives in society.
With WAYL intimacy is exposed facing to public and you can not escape of it.
